“I approached Beki for advice on my fashion business. I was feeling overwhelmed and struggling to make decisions. While running a creative business means ideas often come thick and fast, sometimes this can bring with it a lot of foggy headaches and I felt that I needed someone to help focus those ideas.

Talking this through with Beki was just what I needed to feel more positive about my direction. Beki was able to look at my creative ideas objectively, which is something I found difficult to do for myself, especially as I work alone. This really helped me and I was able to feel more grounded and in control of my plans.

I think any creative artist would benefit from having a coaching session with Beki, I found it invaluable and it would be something that I plan to do on a regular basis.”

“I was stuck with how to develop my graduate collection into a career. I really needed some practical support to help get out there with my work.

The coaching was invaluable as it opened up discussions about existing skills, skill gaps and future ideas/plans as a designer. I was encouraged to show my work which prompted discussions on further development of my designs, and how to develop a commercial portfolio. Lots of practical advice on mediums, software, equipment and how to set up as a freelancer were offered.

Since my meeting, I now feel I have the confidence and tools to get out there and start creating big time! I created a clear plan of action and a springboard from which to embark on my design career.

Beki was so positive and resourceful which made the session fun yet productive. To be honest, it's by far the best advice I've had up till now, just wish I'd been able to access this advice whilst studying!
